One aspect of tabletop role playing games that may be off-putting to new players is the lack of a traditional game board. I’d like to create a system to have all exploration in the game done with counters and maps, just like in a conventional board game or in a video game.
TTRPG Card Game
TTRPG stands for “table-top role-playing game.” Dungeons & Dragons is a TTRPG. Dungeons & Dragons is also extremely complicated and time-consuming to play. I’d like to create a TTRPG card game that is simple, fast paced, and fun to play.
Family Genealogy
If you research deep enough and find the interesting stories behind the people in your family tree, other people may be interested in reading it. I’d like to put up a website where I can show off pictures, family artifacts, and the best stories from my family.
Old News
We have in newspapers hundreds of years of daily reports on interesting things that have happened in the lives of ordinary people. What if I started a blog featuring the most fun, odd, or interesting news article each day, from 100 years ago? Or 150 years ago? Or even 200 years ago?
DnD Monsters
I’d like to deep dive into many of the monsters in the Monster Manual, to provide each monster with enough depth to help it fit seamlessly into your game world. I would provide new details for each monster, variations, encounter ideas, and one-off adventures featuring the monster.
DnD Random Encounters
Crafting meaningful random encounters is crucial for a dynamic roleplaying game, preventing either a chaotic mess or a bland, staged feel. It’s not just about quantity; many DMs mistakenly use generic encounters that bore players and slow the game. The goal is to create an ultimate guide for interesting encounters, along with hundreds of fun and memorable examples any DM can easily integrate into their campaign.
