Role playing games (RPGs) and stories are all about the characters. The characters make or break a story, and a strong character can make a story memorable and enduring. This project is for an app or book of tables that allow the DM to quickly generate NPCs or villains.
DnD Core Rulebooks Expansion
While the Dungeons & Dragons core rulebooks provide a lot of information, there are also infinite ways they could be expanded upon. It would be fun to choose a chapter or subchapter from one of the core rulebooks and really expand upon it. Dungeon Masters and players who enjoy the particular aspect of the rules would find such expansions very useful.
DnD Roll for a Name
Randomly generating names of any style is actually simple enough that you can do it manually without a computer. Instead of using a computer to randomly generate names, you can use syllable lists and dice. I want to write a book that includes dice roll tables for randomly generating fantasy names of all types.
DnD Guide to Neverwinter
Neverwinter is such an interesting and fun fantasy city, with its haunted castle, crumbling towers, undead-infested graveyards, and the magically-sealed chasm dominating the southeastern parts of the city. I’d like to gather what information I can about this fictional city and put together a comprehensive guide for Dungeon Masters so their players can experience the city in its full splendor.
DnD Urban Encounters
Fantasy cities should be another place for stories and adventure, not just boring places for drinking imaginary ale and shopping for imaginary items. I’d like to come up with interesting encounters for players visiting fantasy cities while playing Dungeons & Dragons.
DnD Shop Cards
For each establishment, I should make a “shop card,” which would list what’s inside each establishment and a menu of products and services the players can get while there, along with prices. I’d like to create a grid for each city or town the players visit, and create a shop card for each establishment they can visit in the city.
