Twisted Fables

It may be a fun writing exercise to rewrite Aesop’s fables by changing all of the animals to human characters. I could also set every fable in modern times and also tie them all together chronologically into the same story world and setting. Where possible, recurring animals would come back as the same recurring human character.

Wikipedia provides a good overview of Aesop’s Fables. A good starting point for arranging the fables in chronological order can be the Perry Index.
