I’ve read dozens of business, self-help, and success books over the years as I sought to grow in all aspects of my life. The problem is, unless you’re reading slowly and actually implementing each and every piece of advice you read about, you’re probably only retaining about 1% of what you read. I think a worthy project would be to go through each of the most popular personal development books, extract all of the actionable advice from them, and compile everything into one place. The “one place” could be in the form of a book, planner, or even a big checklist.
