I was once a web app developer in a past life.
I learned to create websites in the 1990s when people were still figuring out if the Internet was just a fad or if it was here to stay. They taught me C++ and object-oriented programming in college. I worked with COBOL and Visual Basic to report on mainframe data at IBM. I helped develop a budgeting web app for the U.S. Navy.
Then I took a non-programming job and stopped.
These days, I still like to tinker with writing code to do minor things on the computer. My biggest interest in computing is still web programming, or whatever that might develop into in our future of blockchains, metaverses, and artificial intelligence.
StormShock Apps is where I can post web apps and software tools that I write. I’ve also created a sandbox there where I can test out code as I learn.
