Guitar Riff Generator

I’ve always thought it would be fairly simple to write a guitar riff generator app. There are certain rules of music that, if you wrote a music generator app that followed the rules, would create riffs that should sound decent. A generator would add a dash of randomness to the rules of music, and it would effectively simulate creativity. A random guitar riff generator would be useful for sparking ideas and creativity in humans.

With the recent rise in popularity of artificial intelligence tools, a number of random music generators have popped up. A quick search on Google yields a bunch of random guitar riff generators. This one uses AI and looks interesting. However, this one is more of what I had in mind. It may be a fun exercise to create my own random guitar riff generator, since I could customize it to create metal guitar riffs of the flavors I enjoy most.
