Most fantasy stories are about evil forces attempting to defeat the forces of good. In the end, the forces of good always prevail.
What if evil won? What would Middle Earth look like if the One Ring fell into the hands of Sauron? What if the Night King and his army of undead swept across Westeros and were victorious? What if Voldemort killed Harry Potter?
For this project, we’ll explore a land where the forces of evil defeated the forces of good. We’ll explore how the villains would rule once the opposition is crushed. I have a feeling that such explorations would ultimately lead to the more philosophical question of what exactly is Good, what is Evil, and do they need each other to exist?
