Although cuisine in the United States has gotten pretty uniform as corporations and transportation networks have grown large, every region adds its own flair to each dish. The uniqueness of each regional dish tells a lot about the local culture, terrain, and history. There are already many American cookbooks out there, but I also think it would be a fun exploration to put together my own.
